Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Persian Literature and Iranian Culture Studies in Persian language and Iranian culture enable students to explore the mysticism, philosophy, philosophy of art, sociology and literature of Iran. Specific studies in the Bahá’í sacred writings are included as part of this degree. The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Persian Literature and Iranian Culture is comprised of 144 course hours that are divided into general and more specialized classes. General courses include Arabic 1, Arabic 2, English 1, and English 2, as well as Bahá’í literature. Specialized courses cover topics such as linguistics, Persian language history, Iranian literature history, works of celebrated Iranian authors, literary knowledge and art, literary styles and schools of Iran and the world, writing, editing and research, Persian literature and language, geography, history of the Iranian culture and civilization, and the history of religions.
